Tiny Steps Tuesday : Eat Your Vitamins
My aunt, a nutritionist, always says that we should make our plates look like rainbow. The colors found in veggies are a result of the nutrients they contain, and having a variety of colors means that you're getting a variety of nutrients. The chart below shows how the color relates to the vitamins.
Your challenge this week is to eat a vegetable (or fruit) at every meal!! Build a rainbow on your plate, at least once each day. Instead of having a caesar salad, which is all green, have a garden salad with lots of color!
